The 25 degree ball end is for access - it turns a screw at an angle when you cannot get in straight. Once the screw is seated, switch to the chamfered short arm for final tightening. It grips the full hex and takes the torque the ball end is not shaped for. Two ends, two jobs, no rounded screws.

Each Allen key is forged from chrome vanadium steel and heat treated to resist bending and rounding under torque.
